Summer Travels

Hanging out in Maryland today and tomorrow hopping around with the family, headed to N.Y tomorrow for the next two days before we head back home. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer, it is going by really quickly, and in between surgeries and doctors appointments I am trying to make the best of my time off. Happy Fathers Day......

Finally I can move around after my foot surgery. I am still wearing a boot, but I will not let that hold me back. Hopped along and spent the day with the hubs and the girls. We did breakfast, and then we headed off to Dave and Busters that they could spend the day having loads of fun. I watched from the sidelines as they played game after game until everyone was tired and ready for lunch. I hope that all dads enjoy this special day, it is a privilege to have this special title. Friday Vibes

It's Friday everyone and school is finally done. I still have some training to complete, but the summer looks like I can get some relaxation in. I scored  the Friday Vibes  T- shirt from T J Maxx, and my maxi skirt is from Loft. My sandals are Tory Burch, and they are super comfortable and super cute. We are heading into the weekend, so enjoy and make it a good one. As always, thanks for reading.

Baby blue accents.......

This loft baby blue cardigan, the blue topaz tassle necklace all lends to the title of accenting with baby blue. This color is very relaxing and calm. My Tory Burch black log sandals are great with the Max Studio lace dress.  One more full day of work before I can begin my summer vacation, can't wait. Nothing but the basics huh!!!!!

Off white is such a great neutral color that can be worn with any color or stand firmly alone by itself. Today, I felt like wearing the off white for me sealed the deal. The Miller sandals are from ToryBurch, they are great but you have to wear them carefully as they can easily pick up additional color. with these sandals I would not wear underneath a long jeans, the blue in the jeans would rub off on them, just saying. My boyfriend jeans are from Loft, and this shear top is an oldie but goodie. As always stay positive and hang tough, the week is almost over. Thanks for reading.

Red, White and Blue

Today,s look was put together to commemorate the hard work of my students all year. Our colors for our Award ceremony today was red, white, and blue. My colleagues and I thought it would be a great tribute to them to wear the colors of the theme. Their song was World's Greatest by R. Kelly, with some hand actions for the chorus. Looking out into the audience as our students performed this song, you could clearly see the prideful actions of the parents it was a great day. All those stressful test, and moments throughout the year felt worth it. I just had to share that thought. My dress is an old one, my necklace is a Macy's special, it cost me $10.00. The white linen jacket is from Loft, my gold tone Jack Rogers wedges are perfect, they add the touch of gold, but not too much. My LV tote carried my personals.
